The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in
identifying a suspect wanted for grand theft and fraudulent use of a credit card.
On May 29, 2013, at approximately 11:00 a.m., the suspect, depicted in the attached
video surveillance photographs, stole the victim’s wallet from the victim’s shopping cart
at the Vons, located at 5700 Stockdale Highway. Approximately thirty minutes later, the
same suspect used the victim’s credit card at the Walmart, located at 5075 Gosford
Road.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic female, in her middle 30s, 5’06” tall, 160 lbs.,
with brown hair and brown eyes. The suspect was last seen wearing a gray sweater
and black pants.
