The suspect, pictured in the attached video surveillance photographs, is wanted in connection with the following three business robberies: June 21, 2013 at approximately 5:08 p.m. – The Grainery, 400 South Union Avenue June 24, 2013 at approximately 1:15 p.m. – Metro PCS, 1030 Chester Avenue July 2, 2013 at approximately 12:36 p.m. – Metro PCS, 6300 White Lane During each robbery, the suspect entered the business, armed with a firearm, and demanded currency. The employees complied with the suspect’s demands and the suspect fled on foot. After the most recent robbery, the suspect fled from the business eastbound on foot, and was last seen running into an apartment complex in the 3800 block of Mei Yen Court. The suspect is described as an Asian or Hispanic male, in his late teens or early 20s, 5’08” tall, with a slim build, wearing a baseball hat, gray hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and dark shoes. Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is urged to contact the Bakersfield Police Department at (661) 327-7111 or Detective Ted King at (661) 326-3553.
