The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s
assistance in locating a suspect wanted for burglary.
On July 13, 2013, at approximately 9:24 p.m., Bakersfield Police
responded to the 2700 block of Pecan Grove for a burglary in
progress. When officers arrived, they learned the victim was
awakened by the suspect shining a flashlight in her face. The
suspect, described as having a male voice, made sexual
references to the victim. The suspect then fled the residence in
an unknown direction in possession of items of value.
Anyone with information regarding this incident or suspect is
urged to contact the Bakersfield Police Department at
