The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in locating
a suspect wanted for sexual assault, false imprisonment and burglary.
On Thursday July 18, 2013, at approximately 5:50 a.m., Bakersfield Police responded to
the 4300 block of Columbus Street for a report of a rape. When officers arrived, they
learned the suspect forced entry into the victim’s residence, where he bound and
sexually assaulted her. The suspect then fled the residence with items of value.
The suspect is described as a Black Male, in his late 20s to early 30s, 6’00” tall, with a
medium build, wearing a black ski mask, dark colored shirt, black jean shorts, and black
and white tennis shoes.
