RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE SALE OF
1998 FORD VAN
TO THE BAKERSFIELD HOMELESS CENTER,
A NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION
FOR ONE DOLLAR ($1.00)
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield possesses a 1998 Ford Van which is no
longer in service; and
WHEREAS, the Bakersfield Homeless Center, a nonprofit organization,
desires to receive the surplus vehicle at a cost of one dollar ($1.00); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Bakersfield Municipal Code section
3.20.120(F) the City Council must confirm and approve the sale of any surplus
equipment to a nonprofit :organization;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
1. The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated
herein by reference.
2. The City Council authorizes the Finance Director to sell a surplus Ford
van to the Bakersfield Homeless Center for one dollar ($1.00)
