Adjournment Staff recommends motion to adjourn meeting POLICE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING EXECUTIVE CONFERENCE ROOM, POLICE DEPARTMENT March 2, 2016 8:00 a.m. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairman, Mike Strong at 8:00 a.m. II. ROLL CALL Commissioners Present: Mike Strong, Chairman Ken Vetter, Secretary Steve Anderson, Board Member Administrative Staff Present: Greg Williamson, Chief of Police Lyle Martin, Assistant Chief Martin Brian Clayton, Captain Scott McDonald, Captain Jeremy Grimes, Lieutenant Mike Hale, Lieutenant Jason Matson, Lieutenant Jason Townsend, Lieutenant Uriel Pacheco, Sergeant Richard Iger, Associate City Attorney Viridiana Gallardo -King, Associate City Attorney Anthony Gonzales, Human Resources Supervisor Caryn Claiborne, Human Resources Analyst Shayla Woods - Collins, Human Resources Analyst Rosalie Molinar, Secretary Public: None III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Mr. Vetter made a motion to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of 02/03/16; seconded by Mr. Anderson. The motion was carried unanimously. IV. PUBLIC STATEMENTS None. V. NEW BUSINESS A. Review of Special Orders Page 1 of 2 � � c No Comments B. Certification of Police Latent Print Examiner Eligibility List, Examination #00887 On Behalf of Maria Mojica, Caryn Claiborne submitted an eligibility list of two candidates for certification. Human Resources expressed their appreciation to police department staff and oral board raters for their assistance. Mr. Anderson made a motion to certify the Police Latent Print Examiner Eligibility List, Examination #00887, seconded by Mr. Vetter. The motion was carried unanimously. VI. COMMISSIONER COMMENTS Mr. Vetter asked for an update regarding the process for oral board promotional examinations. Assistant Chief Martin advised the committee (The committee consisted of Assistant Chief Lyle Martin, Detective Todd Dickson, HR Manager Christi Tenter, HR Supervisor Anthony Gonzales, Officer Ramon Chavez and Detective Jeff Watts) has continued to meet and are working to implement new procedures. A report will be brought to the Commission. These changes will take effect before the next sergeant recruitment process. Mr. Anderson requested confirmation for the appeal hearing date of April 18th. Mr. Strong also requested confirmation for the appeal hearing date of May 2nd Richard Iger confirmed both dates. VII.
