The meeting was called to order by Chairman Steve Anderson at 8:00 a.m.

Motion by Commissioner Lucas, seconded by Commissioner Payne and carried
unanimously to approve minutes of September 5, 2018
5. NEW BUSINESS
a. Review of special orders appointments, promotions, retirements, and INFORMATIONAL
resignations of police department personnel ITEM
b. Extension of Sergeant Eligibility List#01012 and Acting Sergeant Positions: APPROVED
The Acting Sergeant position will be eliminated from this item, including the EXTENSION OF
memo explaining the Acting Sergeant position. A motion was made by SERGEANT
Commissioner Lucas, seconded by Commissioner Payne and carried ELIGIBILITY LIST;
unanimously to extend Sergeant Eligibility List #01012 for six months. ACTING POSTION

c. Police Trainee Recruitment: Maria Mojica presented details regarding the INFORMATIONAL
current Police Trainee Recruitment and requested a Special Meeting ITEM
December 12, 2018, to certify the Police Trainee Eligibility list. Commissioner
Anderson and Commissioner Lucas advised they are available.
6. COMMISSIONER COMMENTS
Commissioner Lucas expressed appreciation for being able to review
minutes prior to preparation of agenda packets.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:07 a.m.
