Notable Items Staff continues its outreach efforts regarding the search for a suitable location for a future Emergency Homeless Shelter. To that end, we have created a video presentation similar to the presentation given at our two community outreachmeetings earlier this month. It can be viewed here: http://bit.ly/39bmZRw. And again, if the community wishes to learn more about the project and the site search, they can find that information here: http://bit.ly/34fmhPs. They may also send their comments on the project to CommunityOutreach@bakersfieldcity.us. Thosemessages will be relayed to the City Council for consideration. The City will also hold a third community outreach meeting on January 7, 2020 at 6 p.m. at the Mechanics Bank (formerly Rabobank) Convention Center. The public is invited to attend the meeting and offer comments and ask questions of Staff about the project. This comes after two previous community meetings were held in December.
