This will be the first vaccination clinic since June after July and August were skipped due to the summer heat. There were 341 vaccines issued to 196 pets at the June 5 clinic, second-most of any clinic this year.  A maintenance outage is planned for the Bakersfield Mobile app next week. Traffic delays are expected as a result of this work. Drivers are asked to use caution and plan for extra travel time if driving through the area, or to use alternate routes. All southbound lanes are expected to remain open. The work requiring the closure is expected to be completed the same day.
