The email says Keep Bakersfield Beautiful (KBB) Ongoing Projects Central Park clean-up initiatives can be done through KBB volunteer groups with the permission of the R&P Department. These must be planned accordingly. Special note must be made of events, R&P maintenance schedules, and other volunteer groups/subgroups of R&P such as Adopt -A -Park program. Given jurisdictional and safety concerns, the City will retain oversight of clean-up within the canal itself. This is completely false. I reached out to KBB and we were told that they could not support cleaning up Mill Creek Park and that they do not do park cleanups/ On Mon, Aug 29, 2022 at 9:17 AM C Brown <cb9856428@gmail.com> wrote: > why is it we still have to climb through heaps of garbage in mill creek? > On Fri, Aug 12, 2022 at 2.41 PM C Brown <cb9856428@gmail.com> wrote: » >> our family has concerns about racial bias with keep bakersfield >> beautiful. keep bakersfield beautiful is supposed to help every ward >> and every neighborhood in the community. not a select few downtown or >> else where in the city Handout O& Great Anieri featuring Mayor Karen Goh's Great American Cleanup High School Challenge Saturday, April 22, 2023 8-10AM • Winning school with the most volunteers will receive a Perpetual Trophy and a $500 donation. • Awards will be presented at the ceremony during the BBQ Lunch at Jastro Park, 2900 Truxtun Avenue ElTra O - KeepBakersfieldBeautiful KEEP AMERICA BEAUTIFUL AFFILIATE Challenge Registration NOW -OPEN!
