Apr. 28
107 City Attorney Reed presented a Resolution in relation to
the prosecution of certain people, who are violating the
City Ordinances, which was read and discussed. Whereupon
it was moved by Fish, seconded by Galtes, that this Board
proceed to vote, on the adoption of the Resolution. Roll
was called, with the following result: Ayes; Fish, Galtes
and Walter. Noes; St. Clair and Macmurdo. The motion was
declared carried, whereupon the Roll was calied upon the
adoption of the Resolution with the following result.
Ayes; Fish, Galtes and Walter. Noes; St. Clair and Macmurdo.
Whereupon the Resolution was adopted.
148 Dr. Snook, the County Physician, presented a resolution of
the Medical Society relating to Panama Slough, which was
read.
159 The Board adopted a resolution in relation to corporations
furnishing water to inhabitants of the City of Bakersfield.

Resolved, that the Superintendent of Streets be, and he is
hereby directed to notify the property owners on Chester
Avenue between 16th and 20th Streets, to have said Avenue
paved with an asphalt pavement; and if same is not
within 60 days from this date, that the Board will
