2. An .Ordinance providing for ~olice Regulations :-
3 The Board of Trustees. of the City of Bakersfield do

§ Section I. The Police'force of the'City of Bs~kersfield
6 shall consist of the city marshal and his deputies,and such pol-
7 icemen as the Board of Tzustees may from time to time appoint,
8 Section 2, Policemen under salary from the city shall be
