8 The Board of Truste~p- of the city of Bakersfield Do ,Ordain

SECTION I. The room in the second story, and in the
north end of the New _Wire Engine House, situate on the
southeast corner of the intersections of X and Twentieth

Streets, in the City of Bakersfield, is hereby designated

by tile Board of Trustees of the said.. City of Bakersfield
as tile place where, it will hold its meetings, and the same

17 ........ 9~all 'be called the CITY HALl, of the City of Bakersfield.
18 SECTION 2. The regular meetings of the Board of
Trustees of the City oF:Bakersfield shall be held on

20 Monday of each week throughout the year, except when
21 Monday shall be a legal holiday, then the Board shall
22 meet the following TUesday.

25 .......... SECTION S. "If a member or members of the board faiz
26 or refuse to attend any of its meetings, the trustees
a7 already convened may compel the attendance of such absent

or members by ordering the marshal to bring him

paid the sum of five ($5.00) dollars~:

1 EECTION 4. All Ordinances and Darts of OI'dlnances
2 in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
~ 5 SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be in force and effect
4 from and after its passage, and Dublication as required
5 by law. "
