An ordinance amending an ordinance entitled ,,An ordinance fixing
the salaries of certain officer~ of thev~e'r-~ of Bakerseield,_ County of
Kern~ State Of California."
The Board of Trustees cf the City of Bakersfield do oral&an as fol-
lows: v
Section one is hereby amended mo as to read as follows:
Section ~ .... '~ach officer herein named shall receive· in full compen-
sation for his -.,_~erfor~r~ng thc duties of the office to which he shall
be elected or appointed, including any o~fice held by him .ex-officio,
the following Compensat'~on_ '..-.ayable monthly on warrants ordered by the
Board om T~stees, except g such fees and co:..~:pen,~ation as are pro-
vided for by the crganic laws of the State of California.

dinance$, and he shall receive from the parties in civil cases such
£ees as are or m~y be allowed by statute to justices of the peace for
