An ordinance requiring the owner, lessee or.other person, having
charge o'r the' don~r°l of any lot or piece' of land lying within the
fire limits to clean the ·same after notice to do .so.
The Board of. Trustees of the City of Bakersfield do ordain as
follows · '
Section 1--- Any person or persons either as the owner, lessee
or othe~ise who has the. control of any vacant· lot or piece of land
lying within the'"ltmi~s of the fire"district '6f this city SHALL,
within fifteen days.after receiving 'notice in writing ~rom the
Superinbendent of st'feets' so to do, clear and .remove all' inflammable
materials, weeds,'~nk, d'ebris, or other rubbish from said Iot or
parcel of land. ..
~ Section ~--- This ordi~nce s~all be ~n full force and effec~

Section S--- Eny. person 'violating any of 'the Provisions Of this
