An Ordinance ~o amen& Section 1 of Ordinance No. 178 of
the City of Bakersfield,. relating to fire limits within said city,
by including within said fire limits, the west half of Block 192.
Whereas the immediate preservation of the public safety requires
that the fire limits of the City of Bakersfield be extended, no~
therefore,
The Board of Trustees of the City of Bakersfield, do
ordain as follows :-
Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 178 of the City of
Bakersfield[ is hereby amended to read as follows:-
"Section 1. The fire limits of said City shall cousist of
the following blocks and half blocks, as follows, to wit: Blocks
Nos. 205; 206; 207; 208; 209; 230; 231; 232; 233; 234; 235; 243; 244;
245; 246; 247; 248; 249; 273; 274; 275; 276; 285; 286; 313; 314;
236; 325; 326; 237; 242; 194; 193; 192; the east half of block 165;
the west half of block 166; the north half of block 250; the south
half of block 229; block 191, and also blocks 92 and 93 of what was
formerly the To~m of Kern."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in effect from and
after its. passage and due publication as required by law.
Passed this I~ day of December, 1911, by the following
