dain as follows:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 171. of the City of Bakersfield,
entitled "An Ordinance establishing the width of sidewalks
and also prescribing the minimum width of cement walks to be -"
constructeddthereon" is hereby amended to read as follows:
(Subdivision ~. of Section 4): On all streets, avenues
or lanes seventy feet to eighty-five feet wide each
curb-line shall be fourteen (I4) ~t from its adjacent "'
property-line, save and except t'hat portion of Nineteenth
street between the easterly.curb-line of Chester avenue
and' the westerly curb-line of N street, between which
