The Board of T~stees of the City of Bakersfield do ordain
as follows:
Sec. 1. It shall be ~lzwful for ~ny person,' fi~, association
or co~orat~on h~ving the ownership, management or control of
property within the corporate limits of the City of Bakersfield
pe~it ~ssian Thistle (selsola k~li tro~s), Gro~d Bur-nut (trib~us'
terrestris), spiny Cockle-bur (xanthi~ spi~s~), Canadi~n'Thistle
( c~rdeuis ~rvensis) ,~Wild ~orning-glory ( ipomone~ nil) ~
disseminzte its Seed on the lands so o~ed ,~y any such person, fi~;" ·
co~oration or association. ' .... ·
Sec, Z. It shall be the duty of every person, fi~, cor-
poration or ~ssociation o~i~ or having the management or control '..
of ~y propg~ty vzithin the said City of Bakersfield upon which any ,..
of the noxious weeds or plants nzmed in Section 1 of this ordinance
are growing to remove the same ~nd cause the same to be burned; and
if after five .(B) days notice from the Superintendent of Streets of
s~id 0ity the owner or person in control' of any property in said
City s~ll .fail, neglect or refuse to remove said noxious or in-.. .""'
