INCHES TO THIRTY INCHES.
WHEREAS, the immediate preservation of the publio
.sa_~Oty requires that the distance between the basks of
seats in theatre auditoriums be regulated, now; therefore,
BE IT OEDAINED by the §ounoil of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
See. 1. 'Subdivision IlS) of Bastion twenty-three of
Ordinance No. 179 ~f the City of-I~kersfield is hereby amended
to read as follows:
Bastion 2S. (p.) All seats in the auditorium
thirty inohes from bask to bask, measured in a horison~tal
direction; and firnly seou~ed to the floor. ~o seat in tho
auditorium 8hall have more than s~x seats inter~enin~ be-
tween it and an a~sle, on either side,
~o stool or seat shall be plaoed in any aisle.

See. 2. This ordinance shall be in effect immediately
upon it8 pasmigo and approval.
