TAXABLE PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIEI~ A RATE OF
TAXATION UPON EACH ONE HU~FDRED DOLLARS OF VALUATION
FOR TNE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY l, 1915 AND Ei~DING
JUNE 30, 1916.

AS FOLLOWS:'
SECTION 1 -
That there is hereby levied a tax of $1.00 on each
$100.00 of the assessed valuation upon all property, real, personal'
and mixed in the City of. Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of
California, for municipal expenses to carry on the various depart-
ments of the Municipal Government of said city during the fiscal
year beginning with the 1st day of July, 1915 and ending with the
30th day of June, 1916. .
SECTION 2 -
That there is hereby levied a tax of 14~ on each
$100.00 of the assessed valuation of all taxable property within
the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, for
interest and sinking fund on the 1912 Sewer Bonds.
SECTION 5 -
That there is hereby levied a tax'of 10~ on each
$100.00 of the assessed valuation of all taxable property within
the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, for
interest and sinking ~u~d on the 1912 City Hall Bonds.
SECTION 4 -
That there is hereby levied a tax of 4~ on each
$100.00 of the assessed valuation of all taxable property within
the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, for
interest and sinking fund on the 191~'Fire Department Bonds.
SECTION § -
That there is hereby levied a tax of one and one-half
cents ($.01-1/2) on each One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars of the
assessed valuation of all taxable property within the City of
Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, for interest
and sinking fund o~ the 1912 Library Bond.
SECTION 6 -
That there is hereby levied a tax of twenty-one cents
($.21) on each One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars of the assessed
valuation of all ratable property within the City of Bakersfield,
County of Kern, State of California, for theosup.por.t, dand:.-~n~-in~tenafice
SECTION 7 -
That there is hereby levied a tax of Sixteen Cents
($.16) on each One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars of the assessed
valuation of all taxable property within 'the City of Baicersfield,
County of Kern, State of California, for Free Library and Reading

SECTION 8 -
That there is hereby levied a tax of ten cents ($.10)
on each One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars of the assessed valuation
of all taxable, property within the city of Bakersfield, County
of Kern, State of California, fo'r maintenance and improvement, of
Parks and Playgrounds.

SECT I0N 10 -
That there is hereby levied a tax of Two Cents ($.02)
on each One. Hundred ($100.00) Dollars of the assessed valuation
upon all taxable property within that portion of the City of
Bakersfield formerly Kern, for the purpose of interest and sinking
fund for the Kern Bond.
SECTION 11 -
That there .is hereby levied a tax of Seven Cents '
($.07) on each One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars of the assessed
valuation upon taxable property in that portion of the City of
Bakersfield which wa~nown and designated as the City of
Bakersfield prior to the consolidation of the said city and the
· Town of Kern, for interest and sinking fund on Sewer Bond Number
One.
SECTION 12 -
That there is hereby levied a tax of Two and one-half
Cents ($.02~) on each One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars of the
assessed valuation upon taxable property in in that porti~ of
the City of Bakersfield which ~asknown and designated as the City
. of Bakersfield prior to the consolidation of the said City and
the Town of Kern, for interest and sinking fund on the old
Baker s~iel~l~Bo nd.
