An ordinance amending ordlnsnce No. 289 entitled, "An
ordinance establishing the width of "sidewalk spaces" in the City
of Bakersfield, and prescribing the minimum width of cement walks
to be constructed thereon, and repealing all ordinances and parts
of ordinances conflicting therewith," by adding a new section
thereto to be known and designated as section
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
.AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
Ordinance ~28g entitled "An ordinance establishing the
width of "sidewalk spaces" in the City of Bakersfield, and prescribing
the minimum width of cement walks to be constructed thereon, and
repealing all ordinances and parts of ordinances conflicting therewith~
is hereby amended by adding a new section to be known and desigmated
as section 2~ and to read as follows:
SECTION 2~: On 14th St. east of the east line of Chester
Avenue, es¢h curb line e~all be 21.25 feet from its adjacent
property iine.
SECTION 2:
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after thirty days from the date of its passage.
I hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance was
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, on the 14th day
of February, ],916, by the following vote:
