ASSESSOR OF THE CITY OF B2~RSFIELD, AND FIXING AND ESTABLISHING THE
C0~ENSATION OF SUCH OFFICERS.
BE LT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL 10F THE CITY OF 'B~.KERSFIELD
AS FOLLOWS: /
SECTION I. The offices of C~ief Deputy Assessor and Assistant
Deputy Assessor of the city of Bakersfi'el~ ~re hereby created and established.
SECTION ~. The compensation of the Shier Deputy Assessor is hereb~
fixed at~/~ ~ per month during such period as he may be actually employed
in making assessments or collecting perspnal property taxes.
SECTION ~. The compensation of the Assistant Deputy Assessor is
hereby fixed at ~/~ ~per month duri~g such period as he m~y be employed
in m~king assessments or collecting personal property taxes.
SECTION ~. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after thirty days from its passage.
I here~y certify that the foregoing ordinance was adopted by the
cCouncil of the City of Bakersfield at its meeting on the ?th day of February,
I918, by the following vote:
