HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 297 ORDINANCE NO. 29? . An Ordinance regulating the sale of Anti-toxin, and prescribing a penalty for the violation thereof. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION l: It shall be the duty of the owner, proprietor or manager of any drug store or drug company within the City of Bakersfield, to keep a record book in which shall be entered the sale of any antitoxin, the date thereof, the quantity sold, the name of the purchaser and the name of the attending physicism; and immediately thereafter said owner, proprietor or manager shall mail a. duplics, te of said order to the Health Department of the City of Bakersfield. Said record shall be open to the inspection of the health officer or his duly authorized representative, at all times. SECTION 2: Any person failing to comply with any or all of the requirements of the foregoing section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not more than three hundred dollars or imprisoned in the County Jail for a period not exceeding ten days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. SECTION 3: This: ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after thirty d. ays from the date of its passage.
