BET~EN D STREET A~D F STREET, AT A POINT 180 _~,F,~ I%~ST OF THE WESTERLY LINE OF F STREET, IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COU~CIL OF THE CITY OF BAtCERSFI~ELD, as follows: SECTION 1. V;KEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield did, on the 7th day of I~ay, 1917, by Resolution of Intention No. 337, declare its intention to change and re-establish the official curb grade in the first Alley south of Eighteenth Street, between D Street and F Street, at a point 180 feet west of the westerly line of F Street from 91.94 feet above the datum plane for the grades of the City of Bakersfield, as fixed by Ordinance No. 18 of said City, to 93~5 feet above said datum plane, and V;HEREAS, the aforesaid Resolution directed the Clerk of the Council to publish in the i?Iorning Echo for two successive insertions in said newspaper and to post the same for two days, consecutively, on or near the Chamber door of said Council, and V~IEREAS, said Resolution of Intention w~s so published and post- ed for two days describing the proposed change of grade, and ¥;EEREAS, no protests were filed against said change of grade, NOW, TH3~.REFORE, it is hereby ordered that the grade on the first Alley soUth of Eighteenth Street between D Street and F Street at a point 180 feet west of the westerly line of F Street is hereby changed to and established from 91.95 feet above the datum plane for the grades of the City of B~kersfield, as fixed by Ordinance No. 18 of said City, to 93.5 feet above said datum plane. I hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, on the 18th day of ~une, 1917, by the follov~ing vote: NAYS: ~ ABSENT: ~I :o tu yCle~/~nd ex-officio Clerk of the ncil ~f~the City of Bakersfield.
