IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, TO BE A PLTBLIC
SEVfER OF SAID CITY.
¥~KEREAS, Lillie B. Smith-Brammell, Jacob Schank, S. P. Wible,
Sarah Baker, T. L. Cummins and F. L. Noxon, of Bakersfield, Kern County,
California, having constructed to the entire satisfaction of the Super-
intendent of Streets of said City, a sewer in L Street of said City,
hereinafter described, and' have donated and dedicated said sewer to the
public use of said City of Bakersfield, and said donation and dedication
has been accepted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Bakersfield does ordain
as fo'llows:
SECTION 1. The .f¢,llowing described sewer in the City of Bakersfield
is hereby declared to be henceforth a public sewer of said City, to-wit:
Beginning at a manhole at the intersection of L and Sixth
Streets; thence running northeasterly fifty-seven (57) feet to a point
in the northerly line of Sixth Street, produced, twenty-eight and
75/100 (28.75) feet west of the easterly line of L Street; thence north-
erly on a line ps,.rallel to said easterly line of L Street four hundred
fifteen and 5/10 (41~.5) feet.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was passed by the
Council of the City of Bakersfield, on the 18th day of June, 1917, .,by
the follovcing vote:
