SECTION 1. ~en~ver ~y person applies for emplo~ent in the Fire Depart-
ment or the Police Deparbment of the City of Bakersfield, ~d said
person has been at some previous time employed in such Fire or Police
Department, such person so applyi~, if employed, may. be reinstated
to his foyer position ~or rank an~ receive the pay to which such po-
sition or rank entitles him.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance w~s passed by
the Co~cil of the City of Bakersfield on the 19th day of November,
1917, by the followi~ vote'
