SECTION.' 1. That Section ~ of Ordin~ce No. 340 of the City of Bakers-
field, entitled ".g~ ORDIN~CE ~GI~ATING THE BUSINESS OF PA~
BROKERS, SECONDH~JD DE_~E~S, J~ DE.~ERS At~D JU~ COLLECTORS,
~D REPE~ING 0RDIN~ICE NO. 176, AND _~L ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF
0RDIN~CES IN CONFLICT ~REWITH," be and the s~e is hereby ~end-
ed to read as follows:
SECTION ~. No pe~it shall be grated to ~y person, firm
or corporation within the provisions of this ordin~ce ~less said
applicant or applic~ts are of good moral character, shall have
complied with all laws of the State of-Califo~ia, ~d all ordi-
n~ces of the City of Bakersfield.
I hereby certify that the foregoing ordin~ce was passed
