AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE
TREASURER TO DEPOSIT CITY FUNDS IN FANKS
IN ACCORD~ICE WITH THE STATE LAW.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
as follows'
SECTION 1. That the City Treasurer be and he is hereby authorized to
deposit the City's fmads in banks as provided in an act of the
Legislature entitled' "An act to provide for s.nd regulate the de-
posit of County and M~nicipal moneys in banks sad banking corpora-
tions; limitin~ the amount of public moneys that may be deposited
therein an5 providing a penalty for illegal ~eposit and Use there-
of", sad to do all acts necessary thereto.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
by the Co~mcil of the City of Bakersfield on the 2%th day' of Feb-
ruary, 19].8, by the following vote:
