AN ORDINANCE FIXING DATE F0R THE C0i~iENCE~ENT
OF TER~ OF OFFICE 0'~F~'~CITY AUDITOR.
WHEREAS, the daily operation of a municipal department requires
the passage of an ordinance fixing the date for the commencement of the
term of office of the City Auditor; ... ,
N0~..THEP~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TH-E COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, as follows'
SECTION 1.
That the period of two years fixed by the Charter of the
City of Bakersfield as comprising the term of office for the City
Auditor, shall, and the same is hereby ~eclared to commence on the
first day of I~y following the General Municipal Election held in the
City of Bakersfield for the election of Councilmen for said City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adogted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield. at a regular
meeting of said Council held on the 28th day of April, 1919, by the
followi~vote:
