Section 1.Section Two o? 0~dlna~ce n~bered Twent~th~ee
shall be erected, ~onstruci. ed or placed upon any lot om parcel
of ground in that ~ortion of the Oit~ of Baker:~field, described
J.n S,~c~ion One of this Ordinance, provided, that where
permission ls ~irst obtained from the Board of Trustees of the
OitF of B~ker~field,a building or buildings maF be constructed
within said' Fire limits, th~ frame or fr~aes of which ~'my be
of wood, provided the sides and top of ~aid buil~ing or buildings
shall be covered 'with iron.
Section 2: Any per~6n.who ~hall violate the provislon~
of this ordinance, shall, on eonvJ.~tion, be punished by a Fine
of not less than Fifty, nor more than Two hunted Dollar~,
and in default of pa~,~ent of such fine, be lmprisioned at the
rate of one day for each dollar of the amount of the fine.
Section Z: This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and due publication, as
required by law.
Passed ~his 7th day of ;~ay, A. D. 1900, by the
following vote;
Ayes: St. Clair, Bailey, Fish, Lowell, Harding.
