TE2 An Ordinance to establish a Pres Public r, ibra~y and Reading
Room within the corporate limits of the City of Bakersfield.
The Board of Trustees of the Oity of Bakersfield do
Section 1; A free public library add reading room is hereby
established within the Incorporate limits of the City of Bakers
field to be known and called ~ "The~Free Public Library and
Reading Room" of the City of Bakersfield.
Section 2: The management and control of the said free public
library amd reading room shall be vested in a Board of Five
Trustees to be known as tlbrary Trustees who shall be elected
at a general municipal election to be held in the said City of
Bakersfield on the 2nd Monday in April ~mx~x~amm~m~agx~ in the
