This ordinance ~ixes the maiir,utm beyon4 which any
pereoh, eompany,-a-ssoeiation or corporation shall not '~)e per-
mitred %o charge or col!eet for water supplied. All rates,
exeep't meter rates, 8re due and paTable month!7 in advance
and the meter 9ares are due and Dateable at
eaoh ~onth.

Im:'.~ediate~:F upon +,be alarm of fire all persons
using water from +,he mains for i~Tigation purposes must close
their faucets and keep them closed 4uring the use of water
b,, the ?ire department and it shall be un!aw~.ll
hereby ~e~lared to be a ~i~de~eanor for any person during the
time the water is being used by the fire de~art~.~ent to
any water whatever for the purpose of i~igation.
This ordinance shall *Ja~~ effect and be. in full force
and effect on the first.day of Ju!y, ~. D. l~O1, and remain
1~02, and before going into effect shall be published once
in the paper ~.mder Contract wi*.h ti~e city to do the public
