State of California, declaring certain sewers in said City to be
public sewers of said City of Bakersfield.
Whereas, the Kern County Land Company has coustructed and
....... c'ompl-eted,: ~m'd-er the supervision Of .the Superintendent of-Streets of
said City, and to his entire satisfaction, the sewer in the streets
and alleys of said City, hereinafter described; and has donated said
said sewer to said City, and dedicated the same to the public use of
said .~ity, which donation and dedication has been accepted by the
Board of Trustees of said City:
Now, Therefore, the Board of Trustees of the City of
Bakersfield do ordain as follows:
Section 1. The following described sewer in the City of
Bakersfield is hereby declared to be henceforth a public sewer of
.... said City-, .to-Wit: ........... . ~.. ...................
Beginning at the center of 2Oth Street, thence south in
Beech Street,and 6 feet west of east curb line of said Beech Street,
to the intersection of the wooden sewer near 17th Street extended
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect from and
after the date of its passage and publication, and shall be pub-.
lished once in the Weekly Californian, a weekly newspaper printed
and published in the said City of B~kersfield.
Passed and adopted by said Board, at meeting of said Board
of Trustees, in open session, at a regular meeting of said Board on
