RESOLUTION NO" 0 0 4 - 10
A RESOLUTION OF THE BAKERSFIELD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
ADOPTING THE 2009/10 to 2013/14 FIVE-YEAR IMPLEMENTATION
PLAN FOR THE OLD TOWN KERN-PIONEER PROJECT AREA.
WHEREAS, Section 33490(a)(1)(A) of the California Community Redevelopment
Law, Health and Safety Code 33000 et se
q. ("Law") requires all redevelopment
agencies to adopt an Implementation Plan every five years, following a duly noticed
public hearing; and
WHEREAS, Section 33490(a)(1)(A) requires that the Implementation Plan contain
the specific goals and objectives of the Agency for the project area, the specific
programs, including potential projects, and estimated expenditures proposed to be
made during the next five years, and an explanation of how the goals and objectives,
programs, and expenditures will eliminate blight within the project area and implement
the requirements of Sections 33334,2, 33334.4, 33334.6, and 33413 of Law; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 33490 of the Law, the Bakersfield Redevelopment
Agency ("Agency") has prepared a Five-Year Implementation Plan, including a
Housing Compliance Plan, for the Old Town Kern-Pioneer Project Area; and
WHEREAS, the Agency has conducted a duly noticed public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BAKERSFIELD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY as
follows:
1. Pursuant to Section 33490 of the Law, the Agency heard all public testimony in a
duly noticed public hearing.
2. The Agency hereby adopts the 2009/10 to 2013/14 Five-Year Implementation
Plan for the Old Town Kern-Pioneer Project Area attached hereto.

HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the
Bakersfield Redevelopment Agency at a regular meeting thereof held on
